So Noted. is a satirical website that tracks international condemnations and lets you add your own. Neither will stop any wars. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, you are free to close the tab. No condemnation will be issued.
This is a non-commercial, satirical project operated by a private individual. It is not a news source, legal authority, or diplomatic channel. All conflict data is sourced from publicly available reporting and cited accordingly. Editorial commentary is satire. The condemnation counters are exactly what they appear to be: anonymous tallies of collective exasperation.
The site allows visitors to register anonymous “condemnations” against conflicts. These are rate-limited counters, not user-generated content. There is nothing to post, upload, or publish. There are no accounts, no profiles, and no way to identify yourself through the site. Automated abuse of the condemnation system (bots, scripts, or other attempts to manipulate counters) is prohibited.
The design, code, editorial content, and overall concept of So Noted. are the property of its creator. Conflict data and condemnation statements cited on the site belong to their respective sources and are used for commentary and criticism under fair use. You may share links to the site freely. You may not reproduce the site or its content in bulk without permission.
The site uses a server-side geolocation database (MaxMind GeoLite2) to determine your approximate country based on your IP address. This is used solely to attribute condemnations to countries for the citizen leaderboard. Your IP address is not stored. Only the resolved country is recorded alongside an anonymous, aggregated counter.
This site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, accurate, or free from errors. Given that the site documents a world where international law is routinely ignored, it would be unreasonable to expect perfection from a website about it.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of So Noted. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this site. This includes, but is not limited to, any emotional distress caused by reading about the state of international diplomacy.
The site is hosted on Vercel and uses a PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. The site does not use third-party advertising, tracking pixels, or analytics services beyond basic infrastructure provided by the hosting platform.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes. We will not send you a strongly worded letter about it.
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of the site operator. Disputes, should any arise over a free satirical website about condemnation futility, shall be resolved through good faith communication before any other action.
